Working Out On the Road
Keeping in shape while traveling can be quite challenging. Finding the time, finding the facilities, finding the motivation, etc. etc.
Cindy and Skye have, as of late, become great motivators when it comes to running. And in the two weeks we've been back in Atlanta, I've been able to go to X-3 Sports and Circus Arts Institute.
But the thing that's kept me going and made me get more consistent is Tribesports, a social network targeted at helping and motivating people to do more in their sports.
It's sort of like facebook for fitness types, sort of.
It has certainly helped get me back on track and made it much easier to track my workouts and fitness goals. I've moved up the tribesports ranks, currently at #936 and getting higher up every day.
I'll be starting a job in Baton Rouge in a couple of days that goes until July. Because we a short day for us is 12 hours, one of the first thing that gets cut is training. I'm crossing my fingers and making a pact with myself that won't happen this time around.
I highly recommend giving tribesports a try.
Off to do some more crunches and squats and then to race the Georgia Spartan Sprint with Skye
