Yes, this will be another silly, snarky post.
Like years past, I bring stuff to read. Stuff that never gets read. Why should this year be any different?
Do audio books count?
Cause that I can do.
And I did.
Survival Guide--Didn't Read It
The Guide Book they give you at entry; nope didn't crack that open till I got back to Atlanta. It's just as well. I was slammed with activity and adventure the entire time I was out there.
That big map could have been helpful, however wandering was as much if not more fun.
My reading while out on the Playa consisted of what was in the port-potties and what might have been next to various art installations.
The "For Wives" created a bit of a stir and ended up being thoroughly entertaining.
"Don't let breakfast be a 'snatch' meal. Your husband often does the best part of his day's work on it, and the engine can't work if you don't stoke it properly." was a favorite and often quoted.
The "How to Be a Pirate" from the Little Golden Book series became a bit of spoken word and then the Pirate Dictionary became a source of entertainment at the bar during our Dark and Stormy party adventures.
I read a bit of that one in the truck on the way out.
