What follows is a taste, an appetizer so to speak, more to come soon, very soon.
Last Friday night family and friends gathered to see the premiere of The Hooping Life, it was amazing, very inspirational, so glad to be part of the hoop movement.
Went out to dinner with a friend from Cali who is working on a Clint Eastwood production shooting here in Atlanta. There is so much shooting here it is crazy.
Sunday night was the Academy Awards, which I find only slightly more interesting and relevant than the Superbowl, but am obligated to watch for a number of reasons, professional as well as personal.
I received notice officially welcoming me to the IATSE Studio Mechanics Local 479, State of Georgia.
And then there is that job thing, you know that little pilot I'm working on, which I vowed wouldn't completely take over my life and well, there's a reason I haven't posted in a week.
I was all over Atlanta, shopping and checking out locations and dumpster diving, with a unicorn sighting along the way, but the racing I'm talking about are the obstacle courses that I pay to participate that are beginning to seem tame compared to my daily adventures.
I signed Skye up for her first Spartan Race. I'll be right by her side of course as will be several friends from team X3 Sports.
Yesterday, I survived the mud and zombie infested forest that was the Run for Your Lives 5k.
I had a great time and filmed the entire thing with the Go-Pro. Now I just need to learn how to edit so I can post some of the highlights.
I received a package from my new favorite on-line store, Atomic Athletic, which included an issue of Acrobat magazine from 1949, as well as a copy of "Traditional Training, Legendary Strength" and a pair of iron boots.
Today I'll be juggling and trying to find balance, literally and figuratively with all things, coming and going.
