Happy Ending, New Beginnings
We're packing things up again and doing another cross-country road trip. I love road trips as much as the next guy. More so, I'm sure. But there are times when it definitely begins to take its toll.
I bought this beer with the intent on drinking it a few days ago, but it somehow survived and now it seems perfect to be drinking it on several different levels.
Atlanta is becoming our home town or at the very least a very significant base in our semi-nomadic lifestyle.
And so it only fitting that I would crack open a local brew as I pack and ready myself to jettison from this very comfortable and familiar landscape.
It has been a Happy Ending, and I see wonderful new beginnings in our future
I've been posting tons of fitness stuff as of late and one reason that I try to keep fit is so that I can enjoy beer and not find myself in an early grave.
I recieved a few wonderful beer related gifts this year.
The stainless-steel growler topping the list.
I ran across my first growler while up in Mammoth and assumed it was a local thing and had to do something with the bears that are so much a part of the Sierras.
I've since jumped on the growler trend in a big way. First just to be more eco and green. And then because it's economical and a bunch of fun.
The beer opener is great because it has a light built in.
And then the 99 Bottles of Beer is this great pocket notepad for taking notes on the beers your drinking. Something I could have used at several beer festivals I've gone to.
Oh well, I'm ready now.
I was a bit intimidated when I opened up the 99 Bottles of Beer journal.
I know a little about beer and I think I can analyze and describe thinks fairly well, but when actually put to the task, well, like I said I was a bit intimidated , but I forged on, started my first entry with Happy Endings by Sweet Water Brewery which seemed fitting.
But now I must get back to packing.
I would so much rather work on my next entry, but duty calls.
