We took a break from cooking the rest of the day and ended up with some sub-par Chinese food for lunch and a mediocre dinner with a chemical laden Mai-tai for me. The restaurant had a maritime theme and I thought I'd stick with it and ask for a rum drink. I got a really bad Mai-tai. I guess I deserved it and the headache that ensued later that night. Went and checked out the Tough Mudder course. Not much too see.
The hotel was nice enough until our toilet clogged. Skye was mortified with the idea of calling up the motel staff to assist and suggested saving ourselves the embarrassment by going out and buying a cheap plunger. I kind of agreed with her so, yeah I ended up at Walgreens buying a plunger.
I was having a difficult time finding nearby trails to run on. At the campground I had to jog 2 miles each way to get to a trail head and it was even worse at the hotel. I ended up having to drive ten minutes to get to where a trail was only to find out I needed and "Adventure Pass" to park. I decided to go back to the hotel and deal with the toilet instead.
Looking forward to picking up Cindy at the airport tommorrow, not so much to the 5 hours of driving that would ent
